Too small across the top - no option for adjustment

The length of the shoe would have been fine but I have a high arch and the top strap is too tight.
Disappointed that I've paid for postage to have the shoes delivered, postage to return the shoes and I have nothing to show for that money paid.
Imagine going into a shoe store and being charged to try on shoes???
That's effectively what this is.
I don't trust getting another pair in a bigger size because there is no guarantee that the top strap will accommodate my foot and then I'll just have a longer shoe to trip over in.
